The Willunga
Township sets back to the 1840’s when it was established. It can be
one of the best places for Sunday hanging in High Street. The place
has evidence of its rich old history: the old buildings in High
Street and its surrounding. Despite the small population in Willunga,
it hosts no less than two pubs! The following are the best Willunga
pubs.
Alma Hotel
Alma Hotel is
located next to the Saturday Willunga Farmers Market and Fino. Alma
Hotel offers an incredible experience; leave alone the charm and
character of a by-gone era.The hotel offers great value meals that are served throughout the week. For wine enthusiasts, you will not miss out on a selection of local wines that are offered at Alma Hotel.
Middle Pub
The Middle Pub (also known as Willunga Hotel) is situated just on High Street. The hotel began with William Atkinson being the first licensee and had the name Lincoln Inn Hotel. Later it acquired Lincolnshire House; then the Bush, and finally the Willunga Hotel in 1870. James Castle became the proprietor and erected the present building in 1870. The building on the West, Cypress Store was also built by James Castle and the two-storey building next door; all the three buildings now form part of the hotel complex. The Middle Pub offers pool tables, a decent pub food, and live music.
Old Bush Inn is located further up the High Street and is famously known as the Top Pub. Whether you are a local or a visitor to the McLaren Vale, or you are on your way further to the south, visiting Old Bush Inn for some refreshments or a meal will prove worthy of your time. Their new menu of modern pub fare offers a list of traditional wines and local standouts that will capture your attention. Their beer selection of craft and ciders will leave you wanting more of Willunga. You can also enjoy live music at Top Pub.
If you are a fun

next level level; so if you wish to visit Willunga Township, located
